Our Electronic Warfare Operations Support (EWOS) Group is made up of 40+ electronic warfare specialists. From all manner of backgrounds, our engineers, scientists and ex-military personnel combine their experience to help our customers achieve their true operational potential, and ultimately help keep their people and platforms safe.
Reporting to one of our Senior Project Managers, you will work as part of a small team at an overseas facility in Saudi Arabia embedded within our overseas military customer.
Your role is to teach and equip the customer with the knowledge and skills necessary to independently and indigenously analyse EW data and populate their National EW Database.
You’ll have accommodation on a base in Riyadh where you’ll be part of the ex-pat ‘home from home’ community.
How you’ll support us
You’ll share your operational experience in this field, to educate the Saudi Air Force in best practice. This is primarily to satisfy the Emitter Data needs of Platform Mission Data Production, Electronic Order of Battle, CEESIM Modelling, Weapon System Analysis, and Counter Measure Development.
- Analysing and updating emitter models in the EW Database from intercepts and other valid sources
- Creating new emitter models from intercepts and other valid sources
- Ensuring that the EW Database is correctly populated using a consistent method
- Assist in the creation of an all-source EW dataset that can become the basis of a EW Database
- Delivery of a range of Training to the customer which, at times, may include classroom training
- Support development and maintenance of their processes

We’re expecting that you have considerable and demonstrable experience in operational EW.
Essential:
- Considerable experience in this area is required as a minimum. Evidence must be provided.
- Advanced knowledge of RADAR Principles
- Proven analytical skills
- Ability to deliver training/operational presentations
- Experience in conducting On Job Training (OJT)
It would be great if you also have:
- Military background with a firm understanding of operational capability in the life cycle of EW
- Worked with/in the UK EWC JEWOSC.
