We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced manager to lead an established team that analyses UK submarine strategic weapons (SWS) performance. In an ideal world you will have SWS engineering experience however we recognise that this is a niche skill set and so remain flexible in our approach and if you can demonstrate transferable skills alongside strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills we would love to start a conversation. Experience of maritime system analytics would be highly beneficial.

The role is predominately on-site in Corsham but does have the added benefit of regular tips to the west coast of Scotland and the USA! We provide our staff with specialist training supplied in-house and through our international defence partnerships.
What you’d do:
- Lead a well-established team of subject matter experts.
- Work efficiently with stakeholders to schedule, prioritise, plan and deliver outputs.
- Assure the quality of all outputs by providing specialist oversight to team members.
- Provide assurance to stakeholders of the ability of the SWS to successfully operate within design specifications.
- Provide representation and specialist input for both MASS and stakeholders at international meetings.
What we need from you:
- 5+ years’ experience in technical analysis, systems engineering, operational support, maintenance, or performance assurance within a complex, safety-critical or highly regulated environment.
- Experience leading a small high performing team, with strong communication and organisational skills.
- STEM qualifications (HND/Degree) or equivalent on the job experience of the operation or maintenance of maritime weapons systems.
- Experience of working with data, in an established team environment, to understand how it can help an organisation make better decisions.
- High standards of written, oral and presentation communication skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
