We are looking for a skilled Project Manager with strong leadership and interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at building strong relationships with strategic customers, identification and qualification of opportunities and development and implementation of successful solutions in order to achieve annual targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Successfully deliver JCAST project within budget and to margin or better while maintaining, and ideally enhancing, the reputation of MASS with current and potential customers;
- Develop and support business development activity to achieve the TS and wider MASS business plans;
- Deputise for the Head of Delivery, TSG (where required);
- Line management responsibility for all TS staff based at Northwood and MOD, including contributing to succession planning, in order to maintain a highly effective and efficient project delivery team;
- Undertake other tasks to support the team where required;
- Comply with Company policies and procedures (including the MASS Management System);
- Adhere to, and be a role model for, the MASS values.
Mandatory Skill Requirements
- Military service and staff experience (preferably Joint as opposed to single Service) at SO1 or above level, or equivalent;
- Completed Advanced Command & Staff College (or equivalent);
- Experience of effective resource management and budgetary control;
- Experience at senior level (OF4/5/6) of deployed joint operations, service in a joint HQ and the conduct of operational-level joint exercises;
- Strong customer/stakeholder relationship management skills;
- Extremely well organised, with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks.
