Job Description

A Business Analyst is required to join our Information Management as a Service Group. Supporting our clients in defining and executing digital business transformation projects on a diverse range of engagements from support chain optimisation to cyber security governance. You will have demonstrable hands-on experience in connecting processes to performance. The successful candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills, be a self-starter as well as having excellent communications skills.  

Listed below are examples of the type of tasks you are likely to be working on:

  • Determine operational objectives by scoping requirements for business change, carrying out in-depth evaluation and verification of existing business and systems (including tools, programmes, and methodologies), and articulate findings to stakeholders;
  • Liaise with stakeholders and third-party vendors to gather, validate, map and document business processes and requirements;
  • Engage in the solution/system development life cycle, ensuring that requirements and specifications are maintained and verified, and risk is actively monitored, highlighting to the team where changes may impact identified risks;
  • Lead test executions of proposed solutions and changes (where required);
  • Create, update, and maintain documents and records (including, but not limited to, communication plans, templates, reporting schedules, risk matrices, and design documentation);
  • Create and disseminate updates to stakeholders as necessary and in accordance with the communication plan;
  • Provide end user support once new systems and tools are delivered, assisting in the creation and delivery of user training, manuals, and reference material;
  • Promote and foster good working relationships with all stakeholders (internal and external);
  • Undertake other tasks to support the team where required;
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures (including the Business Management System);

This role is home based. Travel will be required to various customer sites with a start date of January 2020.
